What does Jesus say about gay marriage?

And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

The above scripture can be found in Matthew 19 and that pretty much says it all.  If you study the Gospels you will notice that sometimes Jesus is asked a question.  Jesus had the tendency to answer the question in such a way that went well beyond the question itself.  He would speak to the larger issue.  Jesus did that here as well.  He answered the Pharisees' question and also enshrined in his words the definition of marriage as God would have it. I don't really know why some Christians seem confused on the matter.  The words of Christ clearly teach that marriage indeed is between a man and a woman.  No divorce, no gay marriage, no polygamy, no weird open arrangements, etc.

Here is a another version of Yeshua Wept with the rainbow colored eyes.
