...he cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth." And he that was dead came forth...

Everyone can relate to Lazarus.  When we are spiritually dead we can identify with him.  We are dead in our sins - greed, lust, adultery, drug addiction, homosexuality... the list goes on.  Like Lazarus we are in a tomb of death… until Jesus calls us out by name.  Then we come forth into new life and leave behind our tomb.  The grave is always calling us back to sin and sleep eternal.  But Jesus is also there to say, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die".

I give Christ rainbow colored eyes thinking about gay people.  It seems that many hold back on pointing out that homosexuality is sin because it is politically incorrect to say anything against gays.  The media treats them like a protected class and does not tolerate disagreement.  Even certain churches are afraid to make a Biblical stand on the subject.  But we should love people enough to tell the truth even if it is not welcomed.  The Bible is clear about this being sin, in spite of how many twist and turn the meaning of the texts.  Do not be deceived and do not listen to deceivers.  Read the scriptures yourself. Maybe you could start by reading about Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19.  READING THE STORY IN ITS ENTIRETY MAKES IT EASY TO DISMISS THE FALSE CLAIM THAT THE STORY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HOMOSEXUALITY.
